People ask me glass or electric for home cupping. Neither uses fire, both pump suction, seems the same. It's not.
Electric runs on battery. That's the whole problem. My back locks up, I grab it, press - dead. Forgot to charge. By the time it charges I took ibuprofen and don't care anymore. Or I do charge it, put it away, two weeks later it's drained itself sitting there. Lithium does that. Physics. But physics doesn't help when you're sore right now.
Cleaning's worse. Valves, ports, gaps you can't reach with alcohol. Moisture gets in, mold builds up around seals. Most models don't come apart fully. You're wiping the outside while the inside rots.
Glass with hand pump skips all that. No battery, no waiting. Pick it up, squeeze bulb, done. Glass is smooth, one wipe, no corners. See-through too - watch your skin rise, know when to stop.
Electric saves arm work. If you cup twenty people a day or grip's weak, maybe worth it. For home? For one person who just wants it to work when they reach? Glass.
RIBON MED uses borosilicate. Stays clear, doesn't scratch, survives normal drops. Simple, That's the point.
