Today, we take you inside the automated production workshop of acupuncture needles, dissecting the complete intelligent manufacturing process from raw materials to finished product.

 

Step 1: Automatic Needle Handle Winding and Reinforcement

The needle handle is the only point of contact between the physician and the needle. The stability of the hand and the smoothness of force transmission depend entirely on this step.

In the past, manual winding relied entirely on the operator's feel, making it difficult to completely avoid uneven tension and burr residue. Now, our production line is entirely equipped with robotic arms-the winding of the copper wire and its tightness are precisely controlled by computer.

The advantage of machines is stability. They don't tire or tremble. The feel of the 10,000th needle is exactly the same as the first. After winding, automatic reinforcement and compaction ensure that it will never loosen during clinical use. There is also a surface inspection; burrs? Absolutely not.

Step 2: Fully Automated Pneumatic Tube Loading

This step deserves a more detailed explanation.Many customers are concerned about sterility. However, sterility is not simply a final sterilization-whether the needle has been touched by a human hand during insertion into the tube makes a significant difference.

Our equipment uses airflow to deliver the needle. The needles are neatly arranged and enter the workstation. The machine activates negative pressure, and with a "whoosh," the needles are sucked into the tube-a completely contactless process. Once the needle is fully inserted, the mechanical head automatically inserts into the fixing head for sealing, preventing loosening during transport.

The concept is simple: Machines should handle as much as possible, minimizing human intervention. Traditional manual tube loading inevitably involves contact with the needle, while pneumatic loading ensures sterility from the very beginning.

Step Three: Automated Packaging and Precision Cutting

After loading, the acupuncture needles enter the final process.

Our packaging line is integrated: the loaded needles automatically enter the packaging film, and the equipment heat-seals each one individually. Then, they enter the intelligent cutting station-the entire sheet of products is precisely cut into individual small packages with neat edges and a reasonable opening, allowing end users to easily tear and remove them without scissors.

We've fine-tuned this cut many times. Too tight and it won't tear; too loose and it might leak air. The current pressure is just right.

Don't underestimate these details. The customer's first impression upon receiving the product often comes from the feel of that tear.
